Download consistently stuck at 9.6MB

Dear Admin,

I’m trying to backup my website the easy way using a Wordpress plugin, after the archive was completed, I hit download and the download always get stuck at 9.6MB / 98MB

And I’ve tried your Instruction on cPanel but It’s to slowwww…

Any advice?

UPDATE : I founded a way to download the backup, but it requires a sometime to workaround, Please fix this, thanks.

I can only guess why it wouldn’t work, because I don’t know which WordPress plugin you use, let alone how it works.

But it probably writes the contents to backup to a file on your account. However, the 10 MB file size limit also applies to files created from a script. That’s probably why it gets stuck just below 10 MB.

Downloading the files through FTP can be slow, but it’s the most reliable way to backup website files.

Okay, BTW im using All-In-One WP Migration plugin, its the most easiest to use plugin to backup / move sites, Thanks.

I’m not familiar with that plugin (or any other WordPress backup plugins for that matter). But migrating a WordPress website with FTP is fairly easy (open an FTP connection in FileZilla, drag the htdocs folder to your desktop and go do something else) and far more reliable than any plugin can ever be.
