After changing PHP, several features of the site stopped working, how can I go back to version 7?
I want to return the PHP version to before the update to 8, so I can then work on an update.
Premium hosting has PHP version selection, where you can downgrade your PHP version if you want. Free hosting does not have this feature: we provide one PHP version and that’s the PHP version you get.
You may be able to update your website by just replacing/fixing the code with new code that works on PHP 8.2. You can also switch to premium hosting temporarily (just for a month or so) while you’re updating your site. Or you can test the updates with a PHP development environment on your own computer that runs PHP 7.4.
