Domain Propagation Issues

Error Message

Your domain’s DNS settings were verified successfully, but the hosting server was unable to confirm them yet. This is usually caused by DNS propagation delays. Please wait and try again, as propagation can take up to a few hours

Other Information

It’s been over two weeks and the domain still hasn’t propagated. I’ve tried using even CName verification after a while but nothing has changed, the domain uses old Nameservers that I’ve successfully changed on my registrar. I contacted support on my registrar and I was told that I should contact support on infinityfree to add my domain to the list of domains in their nameservers.

Hi

The domain is still using our name servers, the reason being that the domain is not resolving to the name servers.

ns1.infinityfree.com

ns2.infinityfree.com

You will need to contact the hosting provider and ask them to add your domain to their name servers.

Please let us know if you require anything further.

So this is a community forum, not customer support.

If you’ve set up Cname verification properly, then the name servers don’t change. it just redirects to the correct name server.

It currently looks like you’ve not set up Cname verification.

Remember even when you set it up, its not instant, you may need to wait a few hours…

I’ve honestly never heard of a registrar rejecting a name server upgrade because its not resolving on the new name servers, since many name servers need the domain to point to them before they can resolve the domain.

Yup, I haven’t paid for premium hosting so I resorted to the forum instead. Uh, Maybe I’ve set them up wrong, I’ll try again but I really have put up a cname record on my registrar.

Aight bet thanks.

I just checked it and it looks like you were able to add your domain name to your account successfully. You do still need to setup a few more things to make it work correctly, but that should be pretty straight forward from here.
