Original error message:
A DNS error occurred while trying to create your account. Please try again later.
It shows up when I press the Create Account button after completing the Additional Information form. No matter what domain suffix I use, I always get stuck at this step.
I’m not sure if this is a system issue because I can confirm that the previous process was fine. If possible, I hope someone can give me some guidance on what I should do, I would really appreciate it!
This problem showed up this morning. Since I didn’t see any announcements, I thought it was just temporary maintenance, but several hours have passed and it’s still the same.
I had a look at what this error means. Specifically, it means that the hosting platform rejected the domain name because it supposedly was using the wrong nameservers.
This should not be possible because you’re using a free subdomain. This either means that something is wrong with the nameservers of the domain you’re using, or the check on the hosting platform side is not working well.
Usually the fix is as the message says: try again later.
If it’s still not working now, I can check it, but then can you please share a domain name which is causing trouble for you?
