If you have a free subdomain from us, you can’t add TXT records that require you to put a record name other than the root domain and aren’t SPF records on free hosting; if you try to use the file verification method as well, it might fail due to this security system:

If you have your own domain, you’ll be free to point it to free hosting through your domain registrar’s DNS services by adding two A records, one for your domain and one for the `www` subdomain, that point to the website IP shown on the Client Area, or using Cloudflare with the same procedure, and create the TXT record Discord requires you to add there.
