Error establishing a database connection

I just checked the webiste and database is control panel. But there is no database in MYSQLdatabase. Its empty. Please help to fix why its deleted?
If the database is not in the MySQL section of the control panel, it is gone forever. When was the last time you can say that it was there for sure?

Last September, we had an outage where some databases were lost. Is it possible that your database was lost back then as well?
