Cron Jobs running too much

I don’t have an error, I have an issue. Here’s my issue:

My website has a currency and membership system, the membership being called “VIP”. Every 24 hours, VIP Members should get x currency. However, instead of x, they are getting thousands of currency. Our Team has been unable to find the root cause of this and any help will be very much appreciated.

Other Information

All Cron Jobs run every 23 Hours and 59 Minutes since there is no 24 Hour Option. Everything is handled via PHP.

The cron jobs here are a joke. They either work (rarely ever) correctly, or royally mess up. No one knows why, or how to fix it. Supposedly premium hosting has cron jobs that work, but I have never tested it. Best of luck!

The cron job tool here is indeed unintelligible.

Premium hosting has a completely different one, where you can select it to run once per day on a specific time, and it will run at the specified time.
