Cpanel err_connection_timed_out

Good afternoon!

I haven’t been able to access my cpanel for the last 30 or so minutes. I keep getting an “err_connection_timed_out” error. Anyone else have this problem?

Edit: apparently so. :slight_smile:

Hello, it seams this is the new internal issue, hopefully it has a quick fix.

Ah, I see. It’s actually working for me again now, albeit with a “NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID” warning in my browser. Hopefully they’ll get it sorted soon, as you say. :slight_smile:

Yes, I believe that the SSL certificate for the panel has expired. Should be an easy fix!

Real certificates have “disappeared” (currently unavailable) due to some works in infrastructure , so you can see some old initial ones that expired in 2020.

The same is true for all other versions of the control panel

Those pesky little SSL certificates. Coincidentally, I am currently working on getting my own website up and running via https/SSL. When cPanel suddenly became unavailable, my first thought was that I had somehow messed up the certificate installation and broken my entire account, lol. Guess not. :slight_smile: :crazy_face:

@JennyR hahaha

btw. mixed content

because somewhere else on the website you have a URL that is HTTP instead of the HTTPS protocol

otherwise the certificate is ok

@Oxy Thanks for the feedback! :slight_smile: I installed a search and replace plugin (as suggested by yourself in another thread) and used it to update all (hopefully) urls in the database. Are you still getting the mixed content warning?
