Contact Form Not working


Today one of my clients complained that after contact form submission the site builder is not sending the form to the assigned email id. If this is not resolved I cannot use the site builder for future projects. How do I resolve this?

Unfortunately, outgoing email is heavily restricted on free hosting. All but a few specific emails are rejected.

Note that this is not a problem with the site builder, any website regardless of what method you use to build it has this issue.

There are two ways to solve this:

  • Use an external SMTP service to send the email. You could for example using Gmail SMTP to send the email. To use an external SMTP service with the site builder, right click the contact form, click Properties, then go to the Email Settings tab.
  • Upgrade your hosting account. These email restrictions don’t exist on premium hosting.
