# Change Cors header

Is there a way I can change the cors header

```auto
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *

```

through apache or nginx?

You can send your own CORS header through PHP, but I don’t think it will do anything. Because of [this security system](https://infinityfree.net/support/javascript-error-using-api-or-mobile-android-app/) CORS of any kind is not possible in free hosting.

Please consider moving to premium hosting if you need to be able to do cross domain AJAX or embedding.
