use file manager from the client area (monstaFTP)
and delete .htpasswd.32d00d70e0b8409fd934~
which you put in that particular dir. (wp-content)
edit also the .htaccess file that is there (in wp-content)
and delete these lines (from image)
and if there is something from WordPress inside then leave the WP code
just delete the code from the image
Save !
WP should take care of the protection of certain folders - so you don’t have to do that
or
you can do this if it does not exist
Add the following line of code to the .htaccess file in your website root:
# Disable Directory Listings in this Directory and Subdirectories
Options -Indexes
