421 Home directory not available - aborting

I hope it fixes soon for me. And, my hosting account is on vol15_7.

Yes. It’s a DDoS attack

On some volumes, the FTP is not DDoSed, but the home directory is not available for it.

You’re right, there was an outage today which affected FTP, the file managers and other parts of the service. I’ve written the official statement here:

I’m sorry for the lack of communication on my part before.

iFastNet has monitoring in place to automatically detect issues like these and notify staff so they can fix issues like these. Fortunately, there are ways to detect (major) issues like this which don’t require customers to report them.

In this particular case, it appears to have been hardware failure, which isn’t always fast and easy to fix.
