Recently I’m facing an issue that when I try to install new WordPress inside my site directory i.e (https://devbyhf.infinityfreeapp.com) using Softaculous in my cpanel it couldn’t be create and also not showing any error message.
Please look into this issue and let me know about the possible fixes.
I’m happy to look into the issue, but then I do need to know what to look for. “It’s not working and I don’t see anything” doesn’t give me a lot to go on.
Also, “I don’t see anything” is a simplification that leaves out a lot of relevant information. Unless you happen to have your eyes closed or are just completely blind, there is always something you see. Even a completely blank page is something you can see, and where and when you see it can change the output by a lot.
How far into the installation process are you able to get? Are you able to access Softaculous? Can you find WordPress there? Do you see the installation options? Are you able to start the installation process? Do you see the progress bar? Does the progress bar complete? Do you see the installation confirmation? Are you able to click the website and admin links on that confirmation page. All of that is extremely relevant information that tells us more about what exactly is happening.
Thank you for the clarification. The installer getting to 2 or 3 percent and then stopping is a lot more specific than you were in your first post.
One more question: when you say “the page reloads”, do you mean it goes back to the installation form? And if not, then what do you see on the page after it reloads?
I just checked your account and it looks like you were able to install a WordPress website successfully.
I also tried to install WordPress myself and that worked perfectly.
The 2% or 3% is during the “checking details” step, which suggests that it might be a validation error regarding the form input. Even if it doesn’t show a big error message at the top of the screen, could you check if it maybe shows a validation error somewhere else on the page, next to a form field for example?
And seeing how I was unable to reproduce it: is there anything you can change about the specific settings you edited in the installation screen? Maybe the reason of the issue is somewhere in there.
