What I’m seeing is: Whenever I complete the generate key/CSR form and click generate, i am just redirected to the previous SSL window and nothing happens. Am I missing out something or is it something else?

The TLS/SSL section on the Control Panel doesn’t work very well with doing the CSR generation. The easiest way to install a certificate is by doing it the Cloudflare way, either from the cPanel integration or via dash.cloudflare.com.

While there are people who use Cloudflare instead, the SSL/TLS section in the control panel is still working and supported software (even if it’s not very user friendly).
In the CSR generation menu, you need to make sure to fill in ALL fields. If some of the fields don’t apply to you, you can simple enter NA in them. But if any of the fields are left empty, the CSR won’t be generated.
Ohh Okay. Thanks for this solution. I have started using Cloudflare at the moment but will surely use integrated SSL/TLS section in the near future.
Look the SSL on the cpanel is confusing for us no so techy. I have generated the key but i dont know what to do with it. And ssl signer is even more confusing. Where can i find the ssl signer to generate the ssl certificate to upload???
You can find this SSL signer with any company in the world which provides SSL certificates. We don’t provide SSL certificates ourselves (if we did, we would just install the certificate rather than forcing you through this process manually).
