Can i use captchas to prevent bots

hello i use this hosting software to make a image board using vichan there is a captcha thing in config but it does not seem to work. what do i do?

Do you have more details? Do you know where it should appear? Are you able to complete the action that should be protected by the CAPTCHA despite the CAPTCHA not being present?

Because if the functionality works, then I would guess that the CAPTCHA is simply not setup correctly, or simply not enabled at all. A broken CAPTCHA blocks everyone, but a disabled CAPTCHA blocks nobody.

well later searches i found 2 verifications on my imageboard they don’t work and i tried to delete one of them one of them is a recaptcha and one is a hcaptcha.
