My father created a website about _Saint Seiya_ (Knights of the Zodiac) sometime between 2010 and 2012 using your service. It was a personal site made just for fun. We no longer have the URL, account name, or username, but we are certain it was hosted by InfinityFree. Is there any way for you to check if there is an old record of that site or account?

2012 predates the InfinityFree brand existing at all, so it would have been on another hosting service entirely. If you meant he used Grendel Hosting (InfinityFree’s predecessor) I’m afraid everything related to that is long gone.

> Grendel Hosting has been in a very poor state for months now. FTP being unavailable, website uptime being very low (with errors like Service Temporarily Unavailable and blank pages). In the last few weeks, new registrations, new accounts and password resets all broke down as well. Our main supplier in the mean time seem to have disappeared, creating uncertainty as to if these problems will ever be fixed. That is why we have decided to shut down Grendel Hosting. What does this mean for new user…

Even if it had been on InfinityFree, there are hundreds of thousands of sites hosted on their servers, and no real way to directly search them by contents.

Grendel Hosting was only launched in March of 2012, so your website predates even that. If it was on Grendel Hosting, that’s definitely defunct. InfinityFree was launched in 2016, but the underlying platform has existed since before then.

After 15 years of being forgotten, the site is very unlikely to exist. We clean up inactive accounts all the time, and 15 years provides a lot of opportunity for that to happen.

And if it has been removed, it’s very definitively gone. Deleted means deleted for accounts that were deleted yesterday. But for accounts deleted 15 years ago, the entire server and everything that ran on it has long since been retired.

Besides that, without a domain name or username, it’s very hard for us to look up anything. A website title means having to scan all files of all websites for matches which is not feasible.

If you have any identifier that I can look up, I would be happy to. But the chance that it still exists is extremely small, so I think it’s fair to assume that it’s gone.

Another thing you might want to try If you can remember the website url or some key words is to try searching on [https://archive.org/](https://archive.org/) , they may have a backup
