You can find statistics about your account in the control panel. Note that the information only updates once every 8 hours.

The allowed limit is 5 GB. How do I know the number used and remaining?

Secondly, what is meant by the word in red?

The two numbers directly below it

Red means you are over the limit and cannot add more files to your account until you delete some

> [@Inode limit on free hosting](https://forum.infinityfree.com/t/what-does-the-inode-limit-mean/49331):
>
> Your control panel shows an inode counter that tracks how many files and folders you have on your hosting account. If you’re seeing high inode usage or approaching the limit, don’t panic. Most websites use many inodes, and this is completely normal. Should I be worried about my inode usage? For most websites, high inode usage is expected and not a problem: Normal usage: 40-60% of your inode limit is typical for websites with WordPress, plugins, themes, or multiple sites. Very cool, how do I do this step please?
Do you have many uploaded files like images for an image gallery? If so, consider uploading those to a file or image hosting service instead.

Also, I can’t install plugins on my site and an error message appears. I deleted some plugins, but couldn’t install others.

See the error below. I want to download this add-on to transfer my site to the new hosting

I’m not sure what part of the step you are confused on, it’s quite straightforward. Use an external site to host your images instead of hosting them on IF.

Also, backup plugins don’t work here due to high usage requirements and the large files that they generate. Please backup your site the way that both WordPress and InfinityFree recommend:

> [@How to backup your website](https://forum.infinityfree.com/t/how-to-backup-your-website/49304):
>
> Good website administration requires making backups of your account regularly and storing them somewhere safe yourself. You also need to download backups in order to migrate website to other hosting accounts. InfinityFree does not create or store any backups of free hosting accounts. It’s your responsibility to regularly create backups, and to store them somewhere safely. Backup your website files The best way to backup your website files is by downloading them using a desktop FTP client. Op…

the reason you cannot add plugins is because you are over the inode limit. I already told you:

Disk space and inodes are not the same. They are both affected by the files in your account, but they measure different things.
