Are ftp accessing services allowed?

so uhm, infinityfree doesnt allow ftp.* subdomains for some reasons.
that makes up a question: why arent ftp subdomains allowed in infinityfree?
for example, i just wanted to make ftp accessing service using net2ftp (1.0)
why i cant?

It’s one of reserved words here, another example is chat, cpanel, and img.

I think file upload sites aren’t allowed.

A well used FTP file manager can take a ton of server power. Moving all the files around, and especially creating and extracting archives puts a lot of strain on servers.

So I would recommend against hosting net2ftp here. It’s not specifically prohibited, but not actively supported either.
