### Website URL

> **[DNS Resolution Error - Domain Not Found, Or Domain not added to hosting account](http://ambedkarlibrary.wuaze.com)**

### Error Message

DNS Resolution Error - The domain you’re trying to reach cannot be found.

DNS Record Not Found: The domain’s DNS records may not exist, may be incorrectly configured, or may not have propagated. The requested domain may also not be correctly connected to an active hosting account.

### Other Information

Hello InfinityFree Support,

My hosting account is active and the domain [ambedkarlibrary.wuaze.com](http://ambedkarlibrary.wuaze.com) is listed in my hosting account.

Hosting IP shown in dashboard: 185.27.134.101
DNS lookup using Google DNS (8.8.8.8) returns: 185.27.134.24

The website sometimes displays the library homepage, but at other times it shows the DNS Resolution Error page. I have uploaded my website files to the htdocs directory.

Please check the DNS configuration and domain-to-hosting account mapping.

Thank you.

Welcome to the InfinityFree community forum! Good to have you here.

- Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
- Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
- AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
- Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.

_Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look._

The domain on your hosting account (the one with website IP 185.27.134.101) is spelled slightly differently from the one in your post. One letter in the word “library” is different. Can you open the account in the members area and check exactly how the subdomain is spelled there? If it isn’t the same as the address you’re visiting, that would explain why the “domain isn’t connected to an active hosting account” page shows up.

I also can’t tell from the topic where the homepage appears when it does load. Which exact address is it on, and does it work on another network or in a private window?

Your account is only a day old, so it’s also worth reading this article on new domains and DNS answers that get remembered for a while. It says that can take up to 72 hours to settle, and it covers how to flush your DNS cache:

> [@Why isn't my domain working yet?](https://forum.infinityfree.com/docs?topic=49237):

> You’ve just added a domain to your hosting account, or changed your domain’s nameservers. But when you visit it, you see a “DNS Resolution Error” page, a browser error saying the site can’t be found, or your old website instead of your new one. This is normal for a new domain. Most domains start working within 24 hours, but it can take up to 72 hours before a domain works for everyone around the world. How long it takes depends on things outside of our control, like your internet provider and y…

I haven’t found anything that explains the 185.27.134.24 address you got from Google DNS. Once you’ve checked the spelling, post what the members area shows, and a person can look at it if it still doesn’t add up.

How recently did you set up your site? It can take 72 hours for DNS preparation to complete, do if it’s less than that you may need to wait a little bit longer

I checked it… and it isn’t.

The actual domain on your account is [ambedkarlibrery.wuaze.com](http://ambedkarlibrery.wuaze.com). Quite clearly a typo (librEry instead of librAry). But it does mean the domain [ambedkarlibrary.wuaze.com](http://ambedkarlibrary.wuaze.com) doesn’t work because it doesn’t exist.

You can either create a new account with the right domain and deactivate the old one, or just add it to the existing account.
