So I’m sorry to say you should have backed your files up before your hosting account got deleted and to learn from that mistake.

It is down to us to make backups, Infinityfree does not have backups so it is not possible to recover your files

Its unlikely but If you are very lucky you might find partial a copy of your website on [https://archive.org](https://archive.org)

Welcome to the forum.

If you deleted the account then by now its been deleted. The error message tells you as such:

As I understand it, once an account is deleted that it. Thats one of the reasons for (and a majour advantage of) the 20-60 day delay where the account is deactivated but not deleted.

You have three (3) available options in order to avoid this issue in the future:

1. Create multiple file backups
2. Utilize any [version control system](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Version_control) such as [Git](https://git-scm.com/) and [Mercurial](https://www.mercurial-scm.org/).
3. Use [Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine](http://web.archive.org/) to capture _multiple snapshots_ from the website.

No, don’t do this. Wayback is not intended to be a backup manager, don’t abuse the free service by using it as such. It also won’t backup backend code or databases, and takes much more time (depending on page count).

Make your own backups with your own computer, it’s much faster anyways:

You also need to download backups in order to migrate website to other hosting accounts. InfinityFree does not create or store any backups of free hosting accounts. It’s your responsibility to regularly create backups, and to store them somewhere safely.
