Accidentally Deleted .htaccess file - Is there any way i can restore it ?

Hey Buddy @Palbros ,

Please consider not to stress about GtMetrix “Page Score”. It doesn’t really matter most of the time. But loading page does…

Also, when you want to test your site for speed, do use the incognito browser. And I prefer you test your site using tools.pingdom.com.

I learned this lesson when I used to hit 15 support tickets at my Premium Hosting Support Portal. I was so innocent about this stuff, but at least today - I’m quite having a bit of understanding.

By the way, whenever you decide to install a plugin on your WordPress site, you may also want to research first if it has the same function as the rest of your currently installed ones.

From there, you can compare what you like most or just test everything to know what’s best for yourself. That’s what I always end up doing. And I only use plugins that my site needs.

Check what I do use: https://i.gyazo.com/c2033c55b5ffe6312d687361e4ca8fa4.png

What should i use for image optimization ?

Any suggestion about my cloudflare page rule ?

Also please let me know what should i use to make my website responsive at mobiles.

Hi
@Palbros
You should only enable one plugin because if you enable many plugins with the same function then it might not work on your website as it was intended to.

In Image Optimization, I would recommend you to use Photon. Photon is an image cdn BTW.

Photon is quite tricky and I think you need to install Jetpack to use Photon. Unless you want to use other functions of Jetpack aside from Photon, I think it’s best to just go with ShortPixel since it’s much more lightweight and easy for the benefit of saving your time. The plugin is developed for WordPress Image Optimation as it is for the purpose you are seeking. By the way, I also just checked out your current plugin Cloudinary. I may schedule a time to test it on my site later on. It’s quite interesting as well. You may want to compare it with ShortPixel to find out what’s best for your site. @Palbros

You can use either of these (in my opinion):

  1. Site (without www): https://i.gyazo.com/9b3cd5d15dd5a672e53233e86dcb3389.png
  • Enable HTTPS Rewrites at Crypto Tab on Cloudflare
  • Change your General Settings on your WordPress Site URLs (both) with “https://”
  1. Site (with www): https://i.gyazo.com/169200726458090db5f7a501766f719e.png

I believe WP Touch is what most WP Devs do recommend but I suggest you don’t want to stress out of it just yet… Otherwise, you can instead use a theme that is already mobile responsive for your site

hey is there any other plug than jetpack and short pixel because they both are chargeble and i need the free one

Shortpixel has a Free tier. Just use that
