in control panel when i try to add 404 page link it says You don’t have permission to access /panel/indexpl.php on this server.

any one knows whats the issue

Hi and welcome to the forum

Please try using the Error Pages tool in the client area instead. The tool in the control panel has some annoying validation rules where it seems to trip security rules if you insert a URL it doesn’t like.
