404 Page Not Found

My website URL is:
http://restauranterest.epizy.com/

I’m using this software:
WordPress, MySQL DataBase, PHPMyAdmin

I developed the site locally, and tried to import it to the infinityfree web server. However, only the homepage is working, when I try to access the other “About” and “Contact” pages, it results in a 404 error.

it looks That .htaccess file is not suitable. If there’s a .htaccess file put these in it (if not create it first):

# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress

in which directory should I create .htdoces?

He meant .htaccess before, and you should create that file in the htdocs folder.

Click here (only for BayoDino)

@anon19508339, the name of the file was .htaccess in both the code formatting things, not one time .htaccess and the other .htdoces, even though the folder containing the website files is named htdocs and not htdoces!

Why won’t you use .load(), your website won’t need to reload to change the content.And it would look better.

:neutral_face:
