# 404 error

### Error Message

my website is returning the InfinityFree 404 page for every file I htdocs

### Other Information

I also tested index.php with a simple PHP echo and received the same 404 page.  
The files are definitely located directly inside /htdocs, and the domain’s configured directory is also htdocs.  
Could you please check whether [cdccdsvs.infinityfreeapp.com](http://cdccdsvs.infinityfreeapp.com) is correctly mapped to the /htdocs directory on the web server?

- Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
- AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
- Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.

When I reload [http://cdccdsvs.infinityfreeapp.com/index.php](http://cdccdsvs.infinityfreeapp.com/index.php). It returns

**404!**

# We couldn’t find that page.

No issue. If you recently removed the domain from one account and readded the domain to another it could be the cause.
