I guess that explains why when ordering SSL Cert for subdomain, client area auto selects Google Trust, while for custom domain it auto selects Let’s Encrypt.

Yes. By default the “recommend” option is selected. That’s currently Let’s Encrypt for custom domains and Google Trust for subdomains. The logic for the recommended provider is determined by me, based on what I see regarding ease of use, speed of issuance, stability and limits, and may be changed at any time based on the current state of things.
You can still choose your own provider if you want, but the option is a bit more hidden, so only those who know what they are doing are more likely to use it.
It used to be that all the options were presented to you in nice side by side comparison cards. But overwhelmingly people requested Self Signed certificates, installed those, and then complained that it was broken because the certificate wasn’t trusted by browsers. I’m not sure why this happened, but even adding an additional warning popup to the Self Signed provider to warn them didn’t do much to stop people choose Self Signed for situations where they didn’t want it.
I’m guessing many people just TLDR-beelined to the button on the bottom right of the screen because “that’s probably the Next button”, same as with the popup (“the big red button is probably the right one”).
Since this change, the number of people complaining that their self signed certificates were self signed has basically dried up, which seems like mission accomplished to me.

Really making progress!
I feel bad for using compressor in the master already (and even worse that it sounds weaker without it), but I guess that’s the point, huh?
BTW, two questions.
One, when you remix tracks of others, do you need permission? Because sometimes seemingly little artists remix stuff from bigger artists like Skrillex.
Secondly, is it ok to keep experimenting and not settle on a small set of sounds unique to you (most artists use the same sounds with different melodies and arrangements, only making small changes to it)? I like the sound design process but very few artists I know (if any) use a wide array of wildly different sounds.

Another problem to the nameservers of free hosting platform again! The IPs of them - and maybe also the DNS servers themselves - seem to be down!

you should have (and it should be someone’s official statement)
not some 2 chat lines
sometimes you can remix but you can’t monetize the project
and for example YT immediately lists the original author below
it is also questionable whether the original author has a license for something
the problem is not only in samples, but also synthesizers have their own patterns, which are again some form of sample = melody…
you can take short sounds, but not melody or text.
it is best for you to be unique
you can produce a bunch of sounds just by blowing into the microphone and pass it through X effects

Looks like this forum have A LOT OF ads now(Even in topics!).
And yes,this is annoying.They don’t even place “ad covered content” report option for this kind of ad!(At least I was getting this all the time)
Not complaining about the ads,I know it is costly to run free hosting.
