Why not go with Pro or Enterprise or even IoT Enterprise LTSC
They can have much longer support than Home

Because:
So what if Home’s out of support (or will be soon)? I’ve rocked an XP machine with AntiVirus before, even though it was capable of upgrading all the way to 10. I use what I like, with the right license, and the best possible protections. And if I get hacked, oh f•••••g well.
It’s not the main machine, so it’s not like they’ll access much (Discord? The Sims 4?). And my network is configured to keep things seperate as much as possible by default, so if there’s a network-wide attack from the affected computer… well, congrats, hacker. You’ve beaten my level of knowledge. You won’t find my banking info in that network, at least.

clicks purple I
Of course, I had to make a private clone of JriMail Interface 3 and give it Windows 7 vibes…
And yeah, I know you didn’t direct your post to me, but you posted the resources and Jake went “Woah!”
wah im cooking so hard for this dumb and useless php file that feel cool for 5 seconds lol
burning ifastnet server because of this ![]()

what next? using php to render doom frame by frame?? XD
It was pretty easy getting the other stylesheets working. I did have to implement a few extra CSS checks.
Who knows, maybe in the next update there’ll be an option to go to Windows-themes, new.win.php.
I am behind on updating the main interface though…
wdym you don’t need a seperate license if the device has an OEM license
But I did, because
according to Windows. I installed Windows (I got the official ISO from Microslop’s website, btw), and the firmware OEM key didn’t activate Windows. (It said something like “Your license key is invalid, either enter a different key or purchase Windows from the Microslop Microsoft store.”)
WAIT A MINUTE… THE BATTERY! When the motherboard lost power due to its shot battery, maybe the OEM key got lost or corrupted in the process?
OEM license allows limited hardware replacement and supposedly you should be able to activate so I geniunely don’t know what’s happening ![]()
ASUS text is hard to read (probably because it’s origin isn’t English), but from what I’m understanding from the official site,
The battery thing I thought would be the reason… shouldn’t be? Unless they consider the battery to be one of the the “main components”…
In the end, I purchased a license and activated my “Window”, case closed, moving on!
Whatever you want to do… I don’t think it would be a good idea, but hey, I’m not the one who making iPhone like things in PHP.
The ASUS support article is just a part of the story, because Windows will automatically reactivate under a lot of circumstances, but well, I guess Windows really doesn’t like the battery swap…
Why don’t you use a black magic if you believe you should already have a license
I could have, and I have considered it… but in the end I didn’t really want to pursue it. I ain’t getting in trouble by a company making slop just because they want money for no reason.
And, as I said:
If Jake was here[1], he would have asked me to take a different approach to requesting everyone to stop caring about this Windows thing. (Hint, Hint).
But, Jake’s currently not here[2]. So, he couldn’t tell me earlier. So, I guess I’ll say it now that it’s on my mind. (Again.)
Apparently Claude thought I wanted to make some bad code, just because I said “Thanks!” as the first thing of a conversation. Huh.
(For context, I have this set in the personal preferences:
(Yeah, I’ve used AI, and had it print a full code thing for me multiple times. It’s normal life now, deal with it.)
Footnotes (if you’re reading this as an email, you’re going to see this twice.)
aio.bat hehe
Took me 75 minutes and 4 tabs to study this. This stupid headache doesn’t even help. or just get more sleep..

I guess the only thing that’s annoying about the Asus’s NumberTrackPad is sometimes I activate the NumberPad mode without realising it and that opens the Windows calculator sometimes ![]()
No…
Hopefully the headache clears up soon, and you can get some good rest!

Well I guess I can post quotes onto a dumpster fire service now… Or send a quote over e-mail to someone, which would look like this:
Nice that Asus has a screenshot key on F11 on the keyboard!
Randomly scrolling reddit, i’ve seen this
Next time someone argues android isn’t a linux distro, give them a checkmate with this! ![]()
Few years back now, I was playing around on an android phone and crashed it. Only instead of just shutting down or getting stuck, it dropped out to a terminal with the error “apt unable to respond. Please restart telnet session”
was quite amusing at the time
Working on two prohects at the same time is a total disaster
Anyways currently focusing on adding more features into my WordPress theme
I have finally figured out the NumberTrackPad: If you want the Calculator opened, swipe from the NumberPad “On/Off” button (do it again to close Calculator). Now I’ve got to figure out how to make it not do any of that while also keeping the NumberTrackPad working.
I KNEW IT!!
