Could’ve sworn IndiHome intercepts all UDP packets destined to port 53. But now it works? I keep MAC address to random and used static IP ![]()
wah headphones jack in big 26 no way
ERROR: MYSQL ERROR - Query execution was interrupted (max_statement_time exceeded)
what
I literarily hate discourse right now ![]()
So laggy and buggy for no reason on my iPhone
I’m installing Windows 11 in UTM and for some reason it lets me create a local account directly?
Moved ~200GB of stuff onto OneDrive to free up space on my Mac ![]()
At this point installing Windows 11 in UTM is just becoming more and more sketchy as it turns out UTM have some unattended configuration that disables UAC by default
Yummy server for my yummy girlieeee
She’ll be free in HSR 4.0! Thank you thank you thank you, Aha!

So, I’ve been doing things.
First, I’ve been moderating Discord servers, and I had to ban someone earlier this morning because they were scamming other members with “1 Month Of Free Nitro” (which the link provided wasn’t genuine in any means)
Second, I’ve been building a Padlet proxy bot that doesn’t use the Padlet API (because they want users like me to pay for a Padlet subscription for it, :middle_finger: to them.) but instead uses a headless browser and my Mind Buddy’s Padlet account. It works quite well, it proxies posts and I can run commands from my Padlet board (Wall). It’s called JakeBot.
(Quick fact, Padlet was called Wallwisher in the beginning.)
Third, I’ve been taking breaks and enjoying life, because why not?
That sounds really cool.
I’ve been learning robot framework and writing scripts to test things on my server a few times a week so I don’t have to worry about it going down unexpectedly
Just bought my first 2 Core 8 GB Server ![]()
200 Mbps with no bandwidth limit
I’ve been doing just about nothing.
Sounds similar to my third thing:
Get what I mean?
Theoretically, I could run JakeBot on a flip phone connected to WiFi.
Installed Discourse yet again and failed on a really miserable step which is forgetting what password I’ve set…
Discourse is actually now providing free subdomains for you to setup your forum as well as provide Discourse ID SSO for you to skip setting up email by yourself
:kek:
Same as me ![]()
Gotta go fast!
Mate, when’s my last time self-hosting discourse? Was it on my first time ever playing wuthering waves and amazed the thing can run on my low-end phone at all? ![]()
1 Gbps network in other places: dirt cheap
1 Gbps network in China: doesn’t exist
200 Mbps is the highest I could go…
To clarify high speed networking do exist in China but once it comes to the servers suddenly it’s either expensive as hell ($2000+ per month) or simply too high that services providers don’t just sell them to you…
*Pretend to not understand Chinese
I have it running on my phone right now, close enough.
Took me longer than it should because I had to re-learn Git and figure out nodejs.
I played around with AI image generation tools, and in our[1] opinion this is a good logo for JakeBot, the Padlet proxybot.
As of 2026-02-09T05:00:00Z, I’ve been hosting Jri (on InfinityFree) for 456 days. I’ve never committed to something for that long. Wow.
. I wonder, how long can I go with Jri?Now, that’s a first for us[2]!
Something tells me GitHub’s having issues…
Since Meishin is going to complain if I don’t do this…
Footnotes:
- [1] - Jake and I’s
- [2] - Jake and I
Good catch! Jake didn’t mind sharing his name instead of hiding behind the Mind Buddy term. Whatever he wants.
He’s still my koala Mind Buddy, but he does what he wants for the most part.
It looks like Discourse got another update.
I remember seeing this update several days ago
OK so my forum is online (kind of) unlike the last few times where I just installed it for pure tesing purposes
Dunno if anyone wants to have a look or not ![]()
@Zhouyi is that Zhongli ![]()
