That’s an Email, from my Outlook.

I’m just gonna…

I’ve been having this happen to me as well, but hey, the community is amazing like that!

What’s at the line again, code stalker?

// Add this to your existing <script> section. It’s in the footnote. It seems you have changed it, though. Good job hiding your tracks.

I have notes like this all through my code, where I’ve copied blocked from tutorials and not cleaned up after myself. Its not always AI

Good job uncovering them like a detective we’ve[1] never hired.

What’s going to happen if I leave some comments here and there like that? It’s not commonly seen by the average user. It may help me out as well.

Exactly.

Flipping heck, The Dev’s where I work leave notes like that in their code from time to time because they’ve copied snipits from elsewhere and not cleaned up. It really isnt a big deal

I have kind of a solid reason to not go back to Windows

You see I get my Surface Go from a pretty sketchy seller, while everything is genuine (serial numbers show up in Microsoft website just fine), the keyboard is an Italian one…
Chinese keyboards are surprisingly very short in terms of supplies

And Windows handles this very badly, like “Why would anyone have an Italian keyboard on a Chinese machine”. I cannot even follow the random registry hacks found on the Internet because due to how Windows works this breaks the on-screen keyboard!

Fcitx5 doesn’t have this issue.

Sometimes I would think whether things will be better if I just kept the stickers the seller puts on the keyboard… (The stickers basically “recreates” the US layout)

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught PDOException: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column ‘successTime’ in ‘WHERE’

Stupid legacy code

Really it was stupid me deciding to change the naming structure halfway though but I choose to blame the inanimate being instead

In other news, should I update my profile pic (The weird transparent pixels and image masking is kinda … bad) and background image (Why did I make that in the first place) or leave them as relics of me from 5 years ago? Wow I am only 2 months shy of my 5 year anniversary here

In my opinion, Keep the PFP (but try to fix the transparent pixels), but Change the background image.

Essentially, the only time I use comments is to affect the linter, but I've never worked on a big project like a mail thingy.

Wow what am I? 5 months?

Actually am I the only person who still links to The GNU General Public License v3.0 - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation for GPLv3 license text?

BTW it’s generally not recommended to use a copyleft license for small code snippets. The GNU project draws a line at 300 lines — that is, if your code have less than 300 lines of code it’s better to use something more permissive like Apache 2.0, as copyleft brings too little benefits for those smaller source codes.

Interesting how @redsusvn is not telling us what tool they used so we know what to do next…

Anyone else like this? I really didn’t want to do some work I needed to do, so I did some more work on my sites, launched a new forum, worked on someone else’s Discord server to set up their Rules Before Joining thing, and made a GitHub repo for a plugin I had to develop for said launched forum since such plugin didn’t exist on the Internet.

But now that my work I needed to do is done, I don’t even have the motivation to correct a wording mistake in Interface 3.

I need work I really don’t want to do so I can do other things. Anyone else?

Except that it actually doesn’t? I requested a backup of my IF Forum account, and when I look in queued_posts.csv I can find that I made a community guide titled “How to create and connect a ImprovMX business email to Outlook”, and it was rejected. I could always bring the post back and make some improvements (but I don’t have the motivation to do so, so no.)
