I think I’m doing okay, thank you. I’ve started going to school for automotive repair work. My first class is electrical, and it’s been very cool and interesting so far.
I’m starting out slowly so I don’t get overloaded. It’s been an adjustment for sure.
Cars in general. I plan to go into hybrids and EVs eventually, but most of what we’re covering so far applies to gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. Even on them so many things are electric or computer controlled, which is why the electrical class serves as a prerequisite.
Heh, don’t worry. Luckily there’s other options for true EVs that are long range now. Gasoline cars are more my area of expertise anyway, but being able to expand my knowledge and work on other kinds is where the money (and job stability) is.
Last week I applied to a Chevy dealership near me. If hired I’d start out as a lube tech, and they’re specifically willing to work with my school schedule.
If it’s not certain that whether it’s broken or not, one should not use crosses alongside with a destructive color. Use a question mark with a mild color like gray is probably better.
Thinking about this two months later makes me think that it’s probably better that we just put up a brief explanation of what does these words actually mean on the SSL page, alongside with a link to the (currently non-existent) documentation page that further explains what should be done about each status.
I would also recommend to put an extra stage between “Action Required” → “Issued”. The current “Issued” status, alongside with the green color, makes people think that everything is fine (when it’s probably not).
Something like “Action Required” → “Action Required” (Yes again) → “Valid” would probably be better.
This should go to that nonsense 36-replies topic but somehow I cannot find it (deleted?), so I’m posting it here.
Well I’ve found it (stupid me). But whathever.
This might not appeal to everyone.
I’ve actually seen free hosting services with better features. And to tell the truth, InfinityFree is actuallly quite slow here in my country.
Yet I sticked here because of the community. It’s just so good. None of the other hosting service have such a nice community around it. And that means everything.
It’s a good thing I installed Turnstile! That’s a lot of bots…
Have you ever forgot to re-implement something on your website, and only notice it missing once you show it to another person? I just had that happen, I forgot to re-implement QuickCheck for the JriMail login page, which was supposed to filter banned accounts.
