Yeah, I honestly donât know why they keep it around anymore. Basically nobody uses it.
Yes! Itâs a new Discourse thing. Or rather, an addon. Or âtheme componentâ as they call it.
Itâs Auto-Linkify Words. You can enter a word and it will automatically turn it into a link. Right now I just setup iFastNet and premium hosting as links, but it probably has much more uses too for KB links, panels, etc.
I updated the template for the client area and it broke a lot of things. The Javascript not working issue we saw last week was one of them, but they also completely changed how alerts worked. So I spent a day updating ~50 different alert instances throughout the panel.
Please let me know if broke any of them.
I did bite the bullet and put it into a proper component now so itâs now all nice and consistent and easier to update.

How and why is @EuropeanRat 's profile hidden?
Nobody uses it because when people ask for help there, many times they are told to make a ticket.
If thatâs not the reason, maybe itâs because they donât use Discourse 
.
So far, I havenât noticed any broken components. The Big Four Buttons are still cut-off on my screen, but Iâm not bothered by it.
I wonder, would it be better to make suggestions in another informal topic?

I donât know what key combo I hit, but when I was in the middle of typing .htaccess , I accidentally posted an incomplete post.
Good thing the pencil only (publicly) marks Edits after 5 minutes.

It happens when you press Ctrl + Enter. It can be a little frustrating since the Shift key is located above the left Ctrl in my keyboard, and when trying to press Shift, it might accidentally turn into a Ctrl press.

I donât know; maybe they havenât taken a look into it or the ticket system wasnât planning to close that ticket?
Since yâall were talking about profile customisation before, I also took my time to disable DMs from most people but moderators, leaders and some OGs (meant to be people from the past that are always reliable) and finally put a title under my profile!
