Iā€™ve been trying things out and its all very nice

But now itā€™ll take an instant since you exposed it on a public forum! :scream:

I could have accessed the new redesign for @oxyā€™s website, but sadly my mobile dataā€™s IP range and/or ASN is in the block list, so Iā€™ll have to check home when Iā€™ll come back from universityā€¦

Follow-up! I had to check it out with the universityā€™s Wi-Fi though and I have to say that Oxyā€™s new website is also good, especially on mobile devicesā€¦ What I donā€™t like though is that the mobile menu isnā€™t mobile-first as I have to scroll to get the entire social list, but I donā€™t mind it that much.

You have to try the desktop version because itā€™s a completely different experience when you can put the cursor over something and there is room for all the elements

social list -They are aligned horizontally and I put a lot of them, and also reduced the mobile menu window so that it is not 100% so that the page below can also be seen to some extent and that then additionally ate two icons,
but you can always turn the mobile phone horizontally or ask for the desktop version through the browser options and then see more adequately

also in the ā€œcontactā€ page you have them again, but vertically

For me, itā€™s the most fun to open the ā€œforumā€ on the desktop version
and then within that window go to ā€œforumā€ again (using the menu from the page inside)
so you have a double actually triple website inside :joy:

Thank you all very much for the compliments and your time :purple_heart:
I appreciate that :hugs:

That one Iā€™ll try at home; Iā€™m still on my phone, even when Iā€™m at university, so Iā€™ll have better luck at homeā€¦

Hey guys, itā€™s been a while. soo have you guys seen my new website?

It took me a bit to figure it out, but the progress indicator under the navigation bar is really cool!

The only thing that I see is the microphone icon is not aligned (At least on an iPad Pro) after the search bar pops out

But other than that little think I love it!

The browser itself adds the microphone (mainly to the search fields or even to some other input) I have nothing to do with that. I never bothered to try to correct it with any CSS

I had that before on the old page and it was created by accident

I wanted to have a gradient animation on the footer
as a background, I accidentally put that ā€œdivā€ up inside the breadcrumb section I had and later canceled it but left it so that I donā€™t have to correct a bunch of pages

and since in that breadcrumb is small ā€œheightā€
the animation flattened because it had parameters in % instead of px

and I said wow  - that would be cool and leave it
and later I adjusted the speed and stretched and further thinned it into a thin little line that attracts attention and suggests actions

I noticed that there are no animations because today I messed up the minify of one css, so if by any chance you donā€™t see the animations when scrolling (elements should come, otherwise they wonā€™t be visible - like ā€œcontactā€ for example)

so if you donā€™t see it then please ctrl + f5

I will no longer use minify from VS code because whatever plugin I choose always creates some drama

Did you buy the domain or did you have it before?

itā€™s great!

regarding these cookies bar and notifications
It has been a while since the EU has demanded that it is not enough to just inform the users, but always to enable them to re-edit their decision at every moment.

Means that it can no longer be used: ā€œif you use this page, it means that you agree to our cookiesā€

but that the user can cancel that decision any time he comes to the page, and then your script should delete the cookie and generally always have a button and a way for the user to revokes/edits/choose his decision :upside_down_face:

when you mention the website I always remember the challenge you did

you never let us know what the solution is?

You know a college assignment is boring when you start using a bitmask just to challenge yourself lol

I hate that you have to take beginner classes for things that you know quite well (well, I donā€™t know Java per se, but itā€™s not hard at all to learn for me). Waste of time and money :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I actually donā€™t know thisā€¦ So I did some changes to my site to avoid the fuss of this GDPR thing

Although EU users may not like this change

I forgot to mention that this applies to third parties, but cookies from your domain are not subject to this.

hahaha very elegant solution

You basically need to edit this for Google
and for CF Iā€™m not sure if you need to
