Hi, welcome to this topic and happy new year to you too! We already know your website is on Google; all it took is some weeks of waiting!
Does anyone have any tips on how to make X buttons? I tried using a smaller X with the × but itās too small:

And then I tried with an uppercase x:

But none of them look good.
Use the Ć but make the font two pixels bigger and see what it looks like.
Or get some svg from bootstrap icons or font awesome or something like that.
When I do that, the problem is that the button grows with the font.

But I guess that could work.
My only problem with SVG is how much space it takes up in the HTML.
Can you not link to an external svg file?
Yes, but I try to limit the amount of requests to external websites.
Ah! This is great. Thank you, Oxy! This also showed me how to make .sr-only elements without Bootstrap.
9 minutes have passed since the start of the new year, so I didnāt do anything in time; anyway happy new year everybody!
thereās still another 50 mins to go for me (London England)
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all
I am happy that I just found this video, this device will make my life easier ![]()
Happy new year everyone!
5 minutes remainingā¦
You guys are already in 2024?! Itās 6:55 PM for me. Anyway, Happy New Years everyone!
What I meant is upload the individual svg file via FTP and link that, canāt have a request to external websites if the file is hosted in the same place ![]()
Ah, I figured thatās what you meant. I have a lot of SVGās in my code so moving them all to their own files would cause a lot of hits on my website. Oh and also, my directory structure is already complex enough and a nightmare to go through; so, no thanks!
Maybe I am wrong, I think there is socket connection limit
Iām not sure about that. However, I donāt use sockets in my website. I meant requests to other websites with the img element in HTML.

Try multiple hours. Must be fun living in the future
The code you showed below makes a socket connection

I meant for the livestream, when I wrote the comment I was already 2 hours in 2024.
The future can be great sometimes and not-so-great some others. Perhaps Iāll pay you a visit if I want to try out living in the past ![]()
Time zones are a bizarre concept. How does it feel to live in the future?
