Interesting project. I also agree that it takes lots of PHP skill and time and effort to build one.
Maybe a suggestion: Have ability to classify a robot (simulated) or a real human hits. This will be beneficial for sites having higher number of visitors.
Also, since it has JS tracker included, maybe track which part of the page has been read the most. Provide average time read for every part of the page. This just the concept and I donât how could possibly to implement it. Maybe create an observer? IDK.
Will be looking forward for this project.

Think you misunderstood. I am creating my own to avoid javascript. So I cannot implement timing features.
I got all the basics done already, the hard part is actually displaying it in a way that is not an HTML table.

Then what makes it stand compared to Google Analytics? If you could ever provide features that Google Analytics doesnât have, then this is probably the best. Privacy and stability enough doesnât enables me to analyze user patterns and how they interact a page.

I want to avoid javascript so I can track people that have javascript turned off, and ad-blockers that also block suspicious javascript.

Our tech is getting so paranoid that when they blocked youtube, they also filtered out every youtube link in a google search. Typical. When you start to provide protection against hackers, or even just âprotectâ your students, you start to get paranoid and think that everyone is out to get you and will try harder to get around it. You canât even click the button for the youtube video on the listen section of a song!

Yep, just heard about the U.S shutting down the network. It is kinda scary though, that I do not have any privacy whatsoever, that the FBI can infiltrate my network!

Yes. Was going to say that some websites are hosted on the same IP, but that has to do with the website handling the request itself.
Still though, like you said, it makes it so much easier to memorize the words instead of a string of numbers⌠unless some idiots attempt to set a world record by making the longest domain names possible!
