Yep.
It is easy to steal people’s data with preventing them from seeing your malicious code, even some browsers or anti-viruses automatically remove codes which prevent source code from being viewed.
im trying to do it to protect my copyright though…
and they could always do thier bad codes in php
Then try to improve your code and secure it with for example minifying or uglifying it, and browser doesn’t send all of its sensitive data to the server, btw

or someone will use some crawler to download everything they can from your site
or even more simply a wayback machine
it is useful to have a complex website
variable names and everything else to bear your name (easier to prove ownership)
images (if jpg) enter the required information in the EXIF data ,etc.
